Google - Webmaster Tools Search Query in Analytics

Once again Google is combining some of their best tools together to create a powerful anyalitics tool.

On Tuesday October 4, 2011, Google announced an improvement to their Google Analytics Reports by bringing the Search Query data over from Webmaster Tools.

Making your analytics report not only easier to use and easier to follow, but more powerfull in your Search Engine Optimization.

What does this mean to you.....

Your new analytics reports should include

Queries and Landing Pages: includes impressions and clicks and postions. Brings CTR information for the top 1,000 daily queries.

Increased Geographical Summary to your Google Analytics. Bring this great filtering into your Search Engine Optimization on your web site into your control.

To enable these Search Engine Optimization reports, you must be both a Webmaster Tools verified site owner and a Google Analytics administrator of that same web site. Turn on the new version of analytics.
